The Homeschool Lounge

The Homeschool Lounge has really been a place of support for me, and also enabled me to support and share with others our homeschool experience. When you first start homeschooling, it is such a scary and overwhelming feeling. I think it was so scary for me because our kids have always been in public school.

We are still crashing and burning our first year, but my understanding and loving words from the moms at this site have encouraged me to keep going. I guess I am not the only one whose first year bombs, lol. I have also received some great curriculum advice from moms on the site, and they aided in giving me some sound thoughts on the curriculum we finally decided on, and LOVE!
