Switched on Schoolhouse Math was better than the "textbooky" curricula we had used before, but was still disappointing. It required a huge amount of preparation on the parent's part if you wished to save a bright child from excess repetition, and we found a disheartening number of errors. Updating, which was supposed to correct some of the errors, was cumbersome.

We got a few weeks into the program before we gave up.

In addition, I find it very annoying and rather greedy on the part of the company that they do not allow you to re-sell the software. Even government school textbooks can be re-sold! This program may have suited another family better, but it can only be given away-and just once.
