Illinois Christian Home Educators is committed to following the Lord Jesus Christ. ICHE has been established by God for the specific purpose of supporting His people as they fulfill their responsibility to disciple their children; training them in godliness in all areas of life. This process of discipleship requires daily parental involvement with their children. ICHE therefore encourages home education, for the purpose of maintaining the parent as the primary authority and influence in the child's life.
