Homemade Laundry Soap in Pail

Homemade Laundry Soap in Pail

Marley, I tried your Laundry Soap recipe that I found on your page of homemade cleaning products. Some of it gelled at the bottom and some went to the top! So, I got out my hand egg beater and mixed it all up! Sure enough, that worked to keep it uniformly gelled.

I purchased a soup ladle that holds about 1/2 cup and use it to stir once in a while AND measure out right from the pail. I even used it in my cold water wash and got NO residue on the dark clothes. I was afraid there would be some undissolved borax in the gel pieces, but it seemed to work just fine.

Thank you, this will really save money on our laundry!
