Jacobs Elementary Algebra

by Debbie C.
(Wittensville, Kentucky, USA)

We have found Jacobs Elementary Algebra a little hard to understand. I have to take more time giving instructions to my daughter. We are considering trying something else.

Thank you for sharing that with us Debbie. Choosing an algebra curriculum is difficult. Algebra is difficult anyway!

Mark still had his old textbook from technical college, so that is what we used. It is excellent taking you through the lessons step-by-step. Rarely did I have to help the children, which is a good thing! It's a big orange book called Basic Algebra. It's part of the Milwaukee Area Technical College Mathematics Series. They also have the yellow book entitled Advanced Algebra. I hope they're not out of print!
