Control the Curriculum

by Jennifer McIntyre
(Malibu, CA)

We choose to homeschool because we can control the curriculum for his level and abilities. The content in the classroom is below grade level for our student. He is bored, unchallenged and has nothing to do at school.

He learns more in an after-school program he goes to because he is able to have more hands-on activities that keep him stimulated. At home he can go through the material at his pace. If he needs more challenges, he can attend a local community college.

Home school provides a perfect learning environment for the way in which he would LOVE to learn!
